promiscuous mode

| Maar hoe vertaal ik dat nou in vredesnaam? Promiscue modus?

Ik zou er maar "Afluister modus" of "Spionage modus"  van maken, want dat
dekt de lading het meest. Promiscue roept toch andere associaties op. Maar
wel weer zo'n term waar alleen de echte professionals mee te maken krijgen,
je hebt er ook root capabilities voor nodig.
